Development of a 100,000 Metric Tons per annum Methanol and 160,000 Metric Tons per annum Ammonium Bicarbonate Plant

History in the making!

We’re beyond excited to be part of something truly groundbreaking with Supertech Chemical Industry Limited — the development of a 100,000 metric tons per annum Methanol and 160,000 metric tons per annum Ammonium Bicarbonate plant at the Ondo-Linyi Industrial Hub in Ondo State, Nigeria.

Here’s why this is HUGE: When it goes live, it’ll be the first-ever Methanol and Ammonium Bicarbonate plant in Nigeria. That’s not just progress — that’s a game-changer for the country’s industrial sector.

The plant was relocated from China, and as of March 2025, we’ve hit 100% mechanical completion. Pre-commissioning inspections and safety reviews are already underway. Testing and commissioning kick off in mid-April 2025, running for about 90 days, with commercial production set to begin by the end of July 2025.

This project has been a massive effort — gas sourcing, securing licenses, handling all the complex documentation — and it’s incredible to see it all coming together. Big things are coming, and we’re just getting started.
